Hi we decided to call it a day
and cancel the Hunter Trial Sunday 12th October 2025 Unfortunately we don’t have enough
entries to cover even a quarter of the costs so we have no choice really.
Thanks so much to everyone who entered and I will do the refunds over the
weekend, hopefully we will see you next year. It’s so annoying because the
ground is beautiful and the course looks fab Anyway take care and thanks for
your support Incidentally if anyone who has
entered and still wants to come and train over the jumps, we would love to see

Many thanks to all our judges, stewards, scorers and helpers. A big thanks to all the competitors who came and supported our event. I will post out rosettes, qualifier cards, dressage sheets and prizes for 2nd to 5th but I dont want to post out trophies in case they get broken so could the lucky winners please contact us by phone 07751156720 to arrange pick up. For dressage sheets for everyone else I will take a photo of it and send it to you if that is okay.

Thanks to everyone who competed, helped and supported us at this event. We have a great support team here from our brilliant volunteers who give their time in return for a bacon roll and a cupcake to our First Aid, Neil and Caitlin, our catering van Alan who keeps us going with delicious food and drinks and Peter from MPG photography who provides lasting memories of the day.

Autumn Hunter Trial & Pairs

We are making provision to run our hunter trial on 11th October. The entries are now open on equoevents.
We are making every effort to keep people safe during this worrying time.
Obviously at the moment the situation is fluid but we are keen to at least have one event this year before the end of the season. If the situation changes and we have to cancel if you have entered you will get a refund of your entry money, unfortunately we will not be able to refund third party charges via the entry system.
We really hope you will support the event and come along its been a long 12 months since our last competition
The event will run with advance entries only and with limited numbers.
You will be given a time and it is very important you keep to it.
There will be no walking the course on the day. You will need to do this in advance of the competition. The course will be flagged in plenty time before the event, when the course is open we will notify via social media and this website
One person to declare and pick up numbers from the secretary caravan. Please bring a mask and hand sanitizer with you and keep it on your person throughout the day in case you need it
You will be allowed one helper, this helper must be the person identified on equoevents or you must message the secretary their details
There will be no spectators allow on course or in the collecting / final warm up areas during the even. Please make sure that your helper knows this. They can help you onto your horse but once you go into the final warm up they will need to go and wait at your wagon
There will be no food van, bring a picnic
We will have toilets and hand sanitizer / washing facilities
There will be first aid cover
There will be ample space for safe parking and warming up. A steward will direct you to the start and final warm up area.
Please adhere to social distancing, wear a mask, wash or sanitize your hands, keep your distance where appropriate. Stay and keep others and yourself safe
Regrettably there will be no results on the day or prize giving. The results will be published online after the event. The rosettes and prizes will be sent out
